Barton le Clay Funeral Options
Our funeral homes, are in Houghton Regis and Henlow (also known as Lower Stondon), The B655 from Hitchin leads to Barton Le Clay and is about 12 minute’s car drive from our Henlow Camp / Lower Stondon funeral home.
Barton Le Clay is usually served by either;
- North Herts Memorial Park and Crematorium which is located very close to Hitchin. It is a fairly new crematorium which is set deep into fields making it very quite and peaceful.
- The Vale Cemetery & Crematorium. The full address is; Vale Cemetery & Crematorium, The Vale, Butterfield Green Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU2 8DD. Whilst Luton Crematorium is older than the beautifully modern Crematorium located in Stevenage, it is very well maintained and presented having recently been extensively modernised.
- Harwood Park Crematorium in Stevenage. A well known Crematorium offering high standards.
- An alternative crematorium is Bedford Crematorium, located at 104 Norse Road, Bedford, MK41 0RL, for families requiring a slightly larger facility than that offer at Luton; (for funerals where a very large number of people are expected to attend).
Of course cremation is not the only option; there are different cemeteries available for burial (as opposed to being cremated). Benedict Funeral Directors are more than happy to discuss this with you. Barton Le Clay has its own cemetery located at the end of Church Road, a stone’s throw along from St. Nicholas Church. This is an extremely peaceful cemetery with the Barton hills in the background and directly accessible from the cemetery.
